
When a bag ban isn’t (just) about the bags
I have worked with the Government of Jersey to develop and implement a new Law that aims to encourage a ‘bring your own bag’ culture across all shopping behaviours. Here are some of my thoughts on why this Law is bigger than bags.

Does it feel like learning?
A focus on the value of learning in your local environment as opposed to about it. Just going for a walk and looking around you opens up opportunities for curriculum learning and citizenship development so our children grow up informed and empowered.

‘You’re going to make something you can eat out of rubbish’
Making a cress head…simple? Yes and no. In this article I share my thinking behind this activity and how it helps to deliver the curriculum and develop citizenship skills with key stage 3 learners.
